Dear Success Minded Friend,

I sure didn't want to reach the end of my life living in the conditions
I was living. I needed to do something... FAST! Just like you probably

you know where I was going? I was 21 years old when I arrived in
Montreal, Canada with a local Haitian theatre group to perform. And I
escaped.

Since America was the long held dream for me, I paid a truck driver to
smuggle into this country. Hopefully you don't work for immigration,
right? Just kidding! :) Chill! I'm a proud US citizen today.

Alright, I arrived in America with... Get this: 1 pair of pants, 2
shirts, and 5 dollars. And I didn't speak any English. In fact, learn
English my Mount Everest in America.

Since I didn't speak the language, I resorted to do what an unskilled,
broke, and illegal immigrant would do. Oops, I just messed up! Sorry! I
